Another day at work
So, I decided that in order to support my scrapbooking habit (I mean Hobby, hehe), it would be best for me to go back out into the world and get a JOB like the rest of America. Of course, this means I get up at 6:45 a.m. and don’t get home until a little before 6 p.m. Then it’s time to start making dinner, then eat dinner, then do dishes, then take care of any other miscellaneous household chores, then it’s off to bed to check email, and unwind before a good night’s sleep. This schedule does not leave a lot of room for me to be able to Scrap during the week, so I spend most of my weekend hunched over my latest projects. I surely did enjoy those jobless days when I could just scrap to my heart’s content, but I DON’T miss having no money to buy the cute, scrappy things one needs to create awesome scrapbooks.
My latest project was making mini-albums for a couple of different swaps I am in. I didn’t realize though what I had gotten myself into until it was too late. I somehow allowed myself to sign up for 25 mini albums. Each album takes me about an hour and a half or so to finish. So, me with no time, and 25 books to make = hours holed up in the room scrappin’ like my life depended on it!
